No one can resist this creamy treat. Its pretty presentation attracts even non-smoothie lovers.
1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen mango
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 handful fresh baby spinach
2 cups cold almond milk*
Cut banana into pieces and blend with 1 cup almond milk and mango chunks. Mix until smooth and pour into a clear glass. Set aside. Add blueberries and 1 cup almond milk to blender and mix. While blender is running, drop in spinach leaves and mix until smooth. Pour over banana-mango mixture and serve immediately.
*To make almond milk, soak 1 cup almonds for1-8 hours and rinse. Blend with 4 cups fresh water, strain and enjoy. To sweeten, add either 1 tbsp raw honey or 1 dried fig, or 4 dried pitted dates, or scrape out the inside of 1 vanilla bean, and add to blender.
