Real-Time Summer Cooking Series with Jen

One of the best parts about being a health coach is sharing delicious, nourishing food with my clients.  I love cooking with you in your homes and in mine, and I love cooking for you at workshops, lectures and retreats.  Since March of 2020, however, the experience of bringing the flavors directly to the people was (sadly) abruptly halted.

I can't tell you how many times I have heard someone say, "If I didn't taste your food, I never would have made that recipe myself."  I totally get that - you see a recipe, and it looks good, but the thought of going through a process for something that may or may not be worth it can definitely keep you from trying something new that you just might love.

The thing is, I know for SURE that my recipes are worth making, and when you taste them first, it is easy to see why.  So I got to thinking... Just because I can't be in the same kitchen as you right now, doesn't mean we can't cook - and eat - together.

I began offering cooking classes that you can attend in real time, and cook along with me from your very own kitchen space.  I'll provide the kitchen list and shopping list in advance, and thanks to the internet, we can prepare a delicious meal, and taste it, TOGETHER!

This month, I am offering a three-class series on Harnessing the Power of Raw and Superfoods

Notes on Raw and Superfoods:

Raw food has not been heated above 118-122 degrees Fahrenheit. This rule allows for much creativity on the part of the raw food chef. Beyond the innumerable concoctions of smoothies, juices and salads that can be created with raw fruits and vegetables, many raw foodists sprout beans and grains to make them edible, soak nuts and seeds to create nut milks, cheeses and sauces, use dehydrators to heat foods at very low temperatures, and often incorporate superfoods in their recipes. They are rich in enzymes, vitamins and minerals, and are associated with longevity and increased vitality.

Superfoods are a class of the most potent, super-concentrated, and nutrient-rich foods on the planet. Extremely tasty and satisfying, superfoods have the ability to tremendously increase the vital force and energy of one's body, and are the optimum choice for improving over-all health, boosting the immune system, elevating serotonin production, enhancing sexuality, cleansing, and alkalizing the body.
