Multi-purpose cleaner

Most mainstream household cleaners are a toxic nightmare.  They are loaded with probable carcinogens, skin and tissue irritants, allergens, and more.  The ammonium hydroxide, hexoxyethanol, sulfonic acids. and fragrance in Windex alone, for example, are 3 stellar reasons to make your own glass and surface cleaner.

Luckily, you don't need much - water and white vinegar are truly all you need - but this recipe takes DIY up a notch:

  • 8 oz water
  • 4 oz distilled white vinegar
  • 15 drops tea tree oil (melaleuca)
  • 15 drops lemon essential oil
  • Glass spray bottle

Fill spray bottle and shake to mix thoroughly.  Shake before each use.
